Have You Ever Felt Stuck—Like Something Bigger Is Calling, But You Can’t Move?

If you've ever felt that magnetic pull toward something more in your business… but found yourself spiralling in doubt, overthinking, or total inaction—you’re not alone.

You’re not broken.
You’re growing.

And what you're feeling? That tightness in your chest, the chaos in your thoughts, the sudden fear after setting a bold new goal—that’s not failure. It’s biology. It’s your comfort zone reacting to expansion.

Here’s what I want you to know:

Fear is not the end of the path. It’s the bridge to your next level.

Why Fear Arises Right After You Decide to Grow

There’s a predictable pattern that happens when a woman decides to stretch, scale, or show up more boldly in her business:

  1. You set a new goal.

  2. You feel energised, lit up, ready.

  3. Days later… fear creeps in.

Suddenly, everything feels harder. Your body resists. Your thoughts spiral. You second-guess the very thing that lit you up.

This is not a sign that you’re wrong.
It’s a sign you’re out of your comfort zone.

And that’s exactly where growth lives.

From £12K to £180K: What Changed Wasn’t My Strategy—It Was My Relationship with Fear

In my first year of business, I earned £12K.
I was doing “safe” things. The things I knew how to do.
I avoided the actions that made me feel exposed, uncertain, or vulnerable.

In my second year, with a newborn and only two hours a day to work, I leaned into the fear—and earned £180K.

Not because I worked harder.
But because I finally stopped avoiding what scared me.

The Truth About Change: Why You Feel Stuck

When you want to move from where you are to where you want to be—whether it’s £250K+ in revenue, better clients, more freedom—you’re moving through a gap. That gap has four phases:

  1. Comfort Zone – It’s familiar. Not always fulfilling. But safe.

  2. Fear Zone – Panic. Chaos. Excuses. This is where most stop.

  3. Learning Zone – You take action despite the fear.

  4. Growth Zone – New results. New beliefs. New possibilities.

Most women get stuck in the fear zone because they believe that discomfort means “I’m doing something wrong.”
But here’s the reframe:

Discomfort is evidence that you’re expanding.

3 Phases to Move Through Fear (With More Ease)

1. Recognise the Fear Cycle

Notice the spiral: procrastination, perfectionism, avoidance, guilt.
Call it out.
Journal: What am I actually afraid of?

Then complete the fear loop:

“If this happens, I will…”

Your brain needs closure to calm.

2. Regulate + Rewire

Your nervous system is your business partner.
Use EFT tapping, walks in nature, or deep breaths to regulate.
I love Brad Yates on YouTube for EFT—he’s a game-changer.

When you’re regulated, you teach your body it’s safe to grow.

3. Take Micro Aligned Action

You don’t need to leap. Just take a step.

  • Want to go live but feel paralysed? Record a 1-minute video instead.

  • Want more clients but overthink pitching? Send one genuine message today.

Small aligned actions compound into massive momentum.

Fear thrives in inaction. Clarity and micro action are your antidotes.

When I Left Banking, Everything Changed

There’s a quote someone once told me in my old corporate job:
“If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.”

At 26, I realised my life was on repeat.
The same office. The same tasks. The same loop.

So I sold my house. Took a career break. Moved across the world.

Was it terrifying? Absolutely.
Was it worth it? Entirely.

Sometimes we fear the unknown so much, we forget that staying the same is the real risk.

The Path Forward: Feel the Fear, and Grow Anyway

Fear will always walk beside your dreams.
But you get to decide if it holds the pen—or if you do.

Let fear be a signpost, not a stop sign.
Let discomfort be a signal, not a sentence.
And when it arises, smile—because it means you’re on the edge of something powerful.
