Rewire Your Subconscious: The Morning Routine That Can Change Your Financial Reality

If you’ve ever felt like you’re doing all the things—working long hours, setting goals, pushing hard—but still not getting the results you want, there’s a reason. It might not be your strategy. It might be your subconscious.

In today’s post, I want to introduce you to a simple yet powerful tool I use daily that has radically changed the way I grow my business and relate to money. It’s not about working 12-hour days or hustling harder. It’s about reprogramming your mind—literally.

 

 

The Truth About Your Brain (and Money)

We all have a conscious mind (about 2–5% of our thinking) and a subconscious mind (the other 95–98%). Your subconscious is where your deep-rooted beliefs, patterns, and stories live—most of which were formed between the ages of 0–7.

Why? Because during those early years, your brain was in a specific brainwave state that absorbed everything around you like a sponge. You didn’t have the filter to assess whether it was helpful, true, or healthy—you just took it in. That’s why if your caregivers were constantly worried about money, that same fear can still run in the background of your adult life, silently dictating your behaviour.

 

The Brain Hack: Using Alpha State to Reprogram

Here’s where the magic comes in: The 20-minute window after you wake up and the 20 minutes before you fall asleep are your most powerful times to rewire your subconscious.

In these windows, your brain is in what’s called the Alpha brainwave state. That means you’re alert but relaxed—the perfect combination for absorbing new beliefs and creating lasting change.

 

What To Do During This Window:

1. Visualisation

Imagine yourself already financially free, abundantly supported, and living the life you desire. Feel it. Not just the thought of it, but the joy, safety, and excitement that would come with it.

Your brain doesn’t know the difference between a vividly imagined event and reality. The more you rehearse this reality, the faster it becomes true.

2. Journaling as Your Future Self

Write out your goals as if they’ve already happened:

  • "I’m so grateful I hit my highest month ever!"

  • "I easily attract aligned clients who love paying me."

This activates a new story in your brain and body.

3. Listen to Subconscious Audio Tracks

Subliminals or guided meditations (like the ones on YouTube) are brilliant when used in Alpha state. You can even fall asleep to them—your brain will still absorb the messages.

 

Why It Works: Neuroplasticity & Repetition

Our brains create new neural pathways through repetition. That’s why a single visualisation won’t shift your entire belief system—but 30 days of repeated visualisation? That can literally change your brain.

Do one of these exercises every morning for 30 days and track your emotional, financial, and energetic shifts. The time is going to pass anyway—you might as well pass it rewiring your reality.
